Job Overview

Memory Care Unit Coordinator at Alvamar | Lawrence, KS. The role leads daily implementation of the Thrive program and provides oversight of the Courtyard community in partnership with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator.

• Implement the Thrive program daily with Life Enrichment Coordinators, Assistants, and direct care staff.
• Oversee the Courtyard community, collaborating with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator.
• Collaborate closely with Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to maintain a functional and appropriate program.

• Minimum two years working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong judgment, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
