A Lecturer is qualified to Masters’ level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level programmes. A Lecturer is research‑active and is beginning to publish their work in peer‑reviewed journals. A Lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s in Nursing and Postgraduate Diploma in any Specialist Nursing field and Registered by the Fiji Nursing Council (e.g. Nurse Practitioner/Midwifery etc.)
• OR Bachelor’s in Nursing and Masters in any Health‑related field or Master’s in Education
• Industrial/clinical experience in your area of expertise.
• Provide evidence of undertaking consultancies in your area of expertise.

Experience

• 6 years’ full‑time equivalent relevant clinical practice or university teaching experience.

• A letter of application addressing each of the criterion listed under the Person Specification more specifically the Essential and Desirable criteria. • A detailed CV with three referees full contact details (telephone numbers and email addresses). Candidate should state their relationship with each referee (e.g. line manager, former postgraduate supervisor).
