Materials Prep Assistants work closely with other Prep Hub staff to prepare, set-up, clean-up, organize, and maintain materials for our science camps, classes, and other programs for children and families. Note that this is largely a behind-the-scenes role and does not usually involve interacting with science center visitors or students.
This is an excellent position for someone seeking behind-the-scenes experience in a science center, someone interested in science education, or someone who simply enjoys and excels at organizing things. (If color-coded labels bring you joy, this may be the job for you!)

Hours: At least 8 hours per week (up to a maximum of 19 hours per week), during the hours of Mon-Fri 10am-5pm.
