Business Internship, Business Analyst
/PROJECT:
The SCSE Intern will support the development of Supply Chain job families, skills frameworks, and a role-based learning structure for the GSC organization. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to workforce capability design, supply chain strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Support the development and refinement of Supply Chain job families and role definitions within GSC.
- Assist in identifying core technical, business, and leadership skills required for Supply Chain professionals by job family and level.
- Analyze existing role profiles, competency models, and learning materials to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Help structure a role‑based learning framework aligned to the GSC Academy.
- Collaborate with SCSE team members and subject‑matter experts to gather input and validate findings.
- Develop and apply AI‑enabled tools to centralize job family materials, streamline access for the SCSE team, and support automated skills and capability gap assessments for career development.
- Develop clear, professional summaries and presentations of insights and recommendations for leadership review.
- Draft job family framework and role summaries.
- Skills matrix aligned to job families and role levels.
- Proposed GSC Academy curriculum structure and learning pathways.
- Final presentation summarizing analysis, recommendations, and next steps.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured outputs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in supply chain, process excellence, learning strategy, Artificial Intelligence, and organizational design.
- Experience with data analysis, process mapping, or competency frameworks.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Business Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall term after the completion of the internship OR have graduated within one year of the start of the program.
- Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship for on‑site, hybrid roles. Some positions will be open to remote interns, but employee must be within the United States borders.
