Open recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the classification of Food Services Assistant.
The examination process will consist of a written examination.
Applicants will be notified via email regarding their status. Those selected to participate in the testing process will receive additional details, including the date and location of the exam, once the schedule is finalized.
DescriptionUnder the direction of a Cafeteria Manager or another assigned supervisor, prepare, warm, and serve hot and cold menu items to students and staff at an assigned school; maintain the kitchen and food service areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
Minimum QualificationsAny combination of education, experience, and training that likely would provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be:
- Experience:
At least one year of experience in school, commercial, institutional or retail food service, or manufacturing. - Education:
Graduation from high school, or equivalent to completion of twelfth grade, is desired but not required.
