The Operations and Logistics Coordinator plays an important supporting role within the warehouse team. This entry‑level position assists with tracking shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring warehouse processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn more about logistics and inventory control within a fast‑paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management- Support daily inventory control activities to maintain accurate stock records
- Prepare and update count sheets and help reconcile any discrepancies
- Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventory counts
- Monitor low‑stock items and communicate replenishment needs to the buying team
- Follow all established inventory procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Assist in booking shipments and coordinating with carriers
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure on‑time delivery
- Help maintain shipping records and documentation
- Support the evaluation of carrier performance and service quality
- Provide general assistance to the Warehouse Manager and warehouse team
- Participate in inventory and operations meetings to learn warehouse processes and performance tracking
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient daily operations
- Follow all company Health and Safety (H&S) policies and procedures
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in designated areas
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and report any safety concerns immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent (post‑secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with spreadsheets or data entry is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and following procedures
Proficiency in English is required to coordinate pick up, delivery, and book appointments with suppliers, customers, and partners located outside Quebec.
Working Conditions- Warehouse environment; must be comfortable around warehouse equipment and inventory handling
- PPE required in certain areas (e.g., safety footwear, high‑visibility vest, gloves)
- Regular full‑time hours, with flexibility during peak shipping or inventory periods
This is an entry‑level position with opportunities for growth within the operations and logistics team. Full training will be provided on warehouse systems, inventory procedures, and health and safety standards.
