As a Shuttle Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in providing our guests with a safe and comfortable journey after a day on the slopes.

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Possess a valid BC Class 4 driver’s license.
- Previous experience and comfort driving in winter conditions in Whistler.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism, especially in fast-paced environments.
- Hold a Class 4 Unrestricted driver’s license.
- Prior experience in bus shuttling/transportation preferred.
- Clean driver’s abstract (No more than 1 tickets/accidents in the last 36 months).
- Familiarity with operating a 2-way radio is an asset.
- Holding a first aid certificate is an asset.
- Demonstrate a friendly and helpful disposition towards all guests.
- Be proactive in upselling to guests.
- Prioritize public and personal safety at all times.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for customer service; prior experience is an asset.
- Organized and customer-focused.
- Ability to handle guest luggage and ski equipment, as required.
- Previous shuttle driving experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining a well-maintained vehicle.
- Keeping accurate daily driving logs and performing Pre-Trip Inspections.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills for report writing.
- Willingness to work all shifts (AM, PM, mid-shifts, split shifts).
- Ability to work independently and remain composed in emergencies or urgent situations.
As a Mountain Shuttle Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety of passengers while operating our 11-passenger bus (Mercedes Sprinter Van).
- Transporting employees between their chalets and the resort, with potential trips to YVR.
- Assisting staff with loading/unloading ski and snowboarding gear.
- Maintaining a professional and polite demeanor with passengers.
- Recording guest trips for invoicing purposes.
- Inspecting the vehicle to ensure proper functioning at the start and end of each shift.
- Ensuring fluids are at proper levels and the vehicle is adequately fueled.
- Reporting any potential issues with the vehicles to management.
- Providing a safe and comfortable journey for guests.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and posted speed limits, prioritizing safety.
- Promoting health and safety to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Working flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends, in extreme weather conditions.
- Performing additional duties as assigned, such as snow clearing, grocery pickups, deliveries, and emergency maintenance assistance.
- Competitive hourly wage of $30.00 plus gratuities (including auto gratuities).
- Flexible hours, with an expected average of 20-40 hours per week.
- Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
