Merchandising Associate (Full Time) - Carrefour Laval

As a Merchandise Associate, you will be responsible for exercising control over the flow of merchandise. Your key focus is to support the shopping experience through processing and organizing merchandise upon delivery.

• Deliver an exceptional shopping experience that fosters strong customer relationships and long‑term loyalty
• Ensure that the transfer, receipt and dispatch of goods are done according to company procedures
• Assist the team in performing tasks related to visual presentation
• Execute visual set‑ups/changes, visual presentation standards and housekeeping duties as directed
• Display knowledge of fashion, visual presentation, merchandise flow and sell‑through
• Direct customer service matters to management and provide feedback

• Previous merchandise, sales or customer service experience is an asset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and move, lift and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store in safe manners
• Availability includes evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet)

Hiring rate of $0.40 above minimum wage (rate may be greater based on relevant experience).
