The CWB Welding Foundation, founded in 2014 is a national not-for-profit charitable organization affiliated with the CWB Group. The Foundation builds partnerships between industry, education and government that enable Canadians to build great careers in the welding industry, through encouraging awareness, training, and the promotion of best practices through a quality educational experience, impartial advocacy and greater accessibility for all those interested in exploring future opportunities in skilled trades and a welding-related career.

What to expect:
The Manager, Marketing Communications, CWB Foundation has primary responsibilities for the strategy, development, execution and oversight of all aspects of marketing, communications, sponsorship and events for programs, grants and overall visibility of the CWB Foundation. This includes development and planning for program execution, reporting, storytelling, and special events held to promote the value and impact of the Foundation’s investments and programs with all stakeholders including CWB colleagues, educators, government, corporate and industry donors, sponsors and program partners and participants.
This role includes the development of comprehensive work plans for all Foundation communications and be responsible for publications and written materials used across media platforms with internal and external partners, incorporating and evaluating qualitative and quantitative metrics of success. The individual in this position reports to the Foundation’s Executive Director, and works directly with the Program Team, Development Team and other members of the Marketing and Communications team, collaborating with program sponsors and co-investors, stakeholders and CWB Group business units including the CWB Association and Centre of Innovation.
The Manager, Marketing Communications is responsible for the development and financial reporting and management of the marketing and communications budget.
