Senior Manager & Team Leader, Business Banking - Laval - Bilingual
Join CIBC as a Senior Manager & Team Leader, Business Banking focused on serving our high‑complexity business clients in Laval. This role is full‑time and requires bilingualism in French and English.
What You’ll Be DoingAs the Senior Manager & Team Lead, Business Banking you’ll be responsible for building, developing, and leading a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and/or Associate Business Advisors. You will ensure the team meets the business needs of our high‑complexity business clients, drive growth by providing advice and services on a broad range of business products, and proactively grow the portfolio of business banking clients.
HowYou’ll Succeed
- Leadership – Provide active leadership and hands‑on coaching to a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and/or Associate Business Advisors in executing and managing client relationships, including the delivery of credit and cash management services.
- Relationship Management – Develop new client relationships through business development activities, leveraging referral sources, existing clients and centres of influence.
- Collaboration – Support a culture of collaboration across the community of banking centres and with internal partners.
- Credit risk management – Ensure appropriate due diligence and management of credit quality and risk within existing segment thresholds.
- A bold and authentic leader, passionate about developing and coaching high‑performing teams.
- Experienced in Business Banking or Commercial Banking, with proven business development skills and advanced knowledge of risk and credit portfolio management.
- Client‑first mindset, with well‑developed relationship management skills.
- An owner mindset – taking initiative, going above and beyond, and delivering results.
- Established profile in the local business community, inclusive of a diverse marketplace.
- Completed an undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
