What You'll Do

Lead the Laval site and oversee R&D, production, and service operations.

Set strategic and operational goals aligned with Teledyne FLIR’s defense division.

Drive product development and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Build a strong team culture, mentor managers, and plan for succession.

Manage budgets and deliver on revenue and profitability targets.

Foster collaboration across Teledyne divisions and optimize resources.

Maintain strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Ensure compliance with export regulations and quality standards.

Promote innovation and continuous improvement in processes and products.

Represent the site in quarterly business reviews and leadership meetings.

What You Need

Proven leadership in complex, high-tech manufacturing environments (required).

Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and strategic plans (required).

Ability to lead engineering teams and drive cultural engagement (required).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international setting (required).

Experience in defense or regulated industries (advantage).

MBA or advanced degree in engineering or related field (advantage).

Bilingual in English and French (advantage).

Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods and U.S. export compliance (required).
