Reporting to the E-commerce Director, the Data Specialist will be responsible for building a comprehensive data architecture and shaping this brand-new role within the web team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust ETL processes that consolidate multiple data sources
- Design and maintain an efficient and scalable data architecture
- Participate in platform transitions to ensure proper data governance and a solid data framework
- Advise and create dashboards for various web-related teams and other departments
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) for building dashboards, transforming data, programming, and connecting diverse data sources
- Proven experience with ETL processes/tools and data warehousing
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applications
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases, including complex query writing
- Knowledge of data security and governance best practices
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to address diverse stakeholder needs
- Experience in programming with REST APIs or similar technologies
