POSITION
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a hairdresser to care for the best clientele: the residents of the Domaine des Forges private seniors' residence located in the Ste-Rose district of Laval.

ROLE AND
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adapting hairdressing techniques to reduced mobility, wheelchairs and specific health conditions (fragile skin, scalp sensitivity, etc.)
Collect payments for services rendered by the hair salon.
Contribute to the overall atmosphere of the residence, in collaboration with the leisure department.
Ensure that customers with scheduled appointments receive services without delay.
Help maintain an adequate inventory of hair products and tools.
Keeping up to date with current trends in haircuts and hairstyles.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation and disinfection standards for the workstation and equipment, according to the requirements in force in RPA.
Manage the appointment schedule (planning, confirmations, follow-up) in collaboration with the reception and care team as needed.
Offering services including haircuts, styling, shampooing, basic coloring and light perms, tailored to the needs of seniors.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma of vocational studies (DVS)
More than 5 years of experience in a hair salon or in mobile hairdressing services
Ability and willingness to work according to a fixed schedule
Autonomy, organizational skills, punctuality and reliability
