We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our Finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for cash management, banking, month-end close activities, general ledger analysis, and customer billing. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills
, and experience across multiple accounting functions.

How will you make an impact:

Cash Management & Forecasting

Manage daily cash management activities, including cash positioning and forecasting.

Ensure timely processing of payments, wires, and transfers related to payroll, government remittances and vendor payments.

Monitor cash balances and ensure liquidity for operational needs.

Month-End Close & General Ledger Analysis

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, and ensure proper coding and classification.

Perform general ledger analysis, month-on-month fluctuation analysis and explain variances.

Analyze financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet). Monitor KPI’s and identify performance gaps.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Support audit processes by providing schedules and documentation.

Customer Billing & Collections

Prepare customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Monitor accounts receivable aging.

What makes you a great fit:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant accounting experience

Bilingual—fluency in English and French (spoken and written) so you can interact with colleagues across the country.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Intermediate proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
