Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $127,380 - $169,838, plus a performance-based incentive.

Location
  • Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring management-level employees to work in the office 3 days per week. (subject to change)
  • These roles will each be performed from EDC’s respective offices in Brossard and Laval.
  • Relocation assistance is available for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.

Team & Job Overview

The Mid-Market Group is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented leaders with a passion for customer service and business development to fill the roles of Regional Director of Laval and Brossard. Reporting to the Regional Vice-President, each Regional Director will be leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers located in these markets.

Each Regional Director will:
  • Lead the team in the development of strategies to retain existing customers and enhance the impact EDC has with these customers.
  • Lead the team in the origination of new customers.
  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with senior and executive level contacts from across: the customer portfolio, prospective new customers, the banking community, Federal & Provincial partners, and other key stakeholders across the trade ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the development of the district and regional market strategy and business plan.

  • Creates international trade focused business development opportunities with an existing portfolio of commercial segment companies across a spectrum of industry sectors.
