Junior IT Support
The ITA (International Testing Agency) is an independent not‑for‑profit Swiss foundation located in Lausanne and provides anti‑doping services to International Sports Federations, Major Event Organisers and Anti‑Doping Organisations. The Technology Department is looking for a committed, passionate full‑time (40 hours per week) Junior IT Support.
Job descriptionThe organisation relies on complex IT systems and applications for its digital activity. The Junior IT Support ensures the smooth functioning of day‑to‑day IT operations and the technological infrastructure across the ITA organisation. This position is a suitable entry‑level step for a tech‑savvy professional.
Key responsibilities- Actively contribute to the smooth running of the general IT infrastructure and services of the organisation.
- Interact verbally and in writing with ITA colleagues and partners to offer first and second level support, using remote access when necessary.
- Handle and document support requests through the organisation’s ticketing system.
- Support user account lifecycle management (creation, access rights, password assistance).
- Prepare and set up technology tools such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and AV equipment.
- Support the maintenance of the computing equipment inventory.
- Contribute to the knowledge base for known IT issues to facilitate proactive problem‑solving.
- Support the IT team in developing IT tools to facilitate the work of the ITA staff.
- Support ITA’s IT operations during major sport events.
- Knowledge and ideally hands‑on experience with installation and configuration of Windows‑based PCs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows; familiarity with Azure and Office 365 environments is a plus.
- Practical, hands‑on troubleshooting of laptops and tablets; experience with printers and peripherals is a plus.
- Fast learner, able to work with tight deadlines in a highly sensitive IT environment.
- Very good English written and oral communication skills;
French is a strong asset, other languages a plus. - Strong customer service orientation.
- Collaborative, team‑player attitude.
- Positive mindset with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and strong work ethic.
- Swiss residency is a great asset.
