Electrical AIT Technician – Space

Mission

Based in Lausanne, you will be responsible for Electrical integration of Space equipment onto satellite as well as performing functional and performance tests of telecommunication satellites.

• Electrical and RF Equipment integration & connections at satellite level
• Installation and validation of test equipment
• Execution of test procedures
• Conducting tests in complex environments: thermal vacuum, vibration, anechoic chamber
• First-level troubleshooting on test benches and tools
• Calling on defined technical support (electrical contacts) when the nominal sequence of electrical operations cannot be followed
• Disconnecting, removing and storing test equipment
• Classifying and archiving documentation
• Saving test and measurement results

• Bachelor's Degree of Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent education required. Electrical or related field of study in Electrical degree is a plus.
• 5+ years minimum experience in an AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) environment
• You have a background in Electronics and electrical engineering, electrical operations (Standard Electrical test operations, connections, harness handling, soldering, crimping, etc…) Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, Conducting tests and experiments, Experience with Radio frequencies test (VNA, SA, S-parameters, AM/AM) and UNIX/LINUX-based computer networks in a space environment would be advantageous, A solid understanding of test equipment and test benches is highly desirable.
