Join a Team Advancing Precision Surgery Through Advanced Imaging

Saman Tree Medical is a privately held Belgian–Swiss medical device company dedicated to improving precision in surgery through innovative imaging solutions. Headquartered in Liège, Belgium, with R&D in Lausanne, Switzerland, and U.S. regional headquarters in Boston, our team is united by a shared mission to bring clarity, speed, and confidence to the operating room.

We develop and manufacture the Histolog® Scanner
, a groundbreaking rapid, high-resolution imaging system that enables real-time visualization of excised tissue. These images assist physicians in making immediate, informed decisions that influence outcomes for patients and families.

The Histolog Scanner is the first and only device built on massively parallel confocal microscopy, a revolutionary technology that captures nearly 30,000 points at once to generate high-resolution images in about one minute. Commercialized in Europe, the United States and several additional international geographies the Histolog Scanner represents a new standard in digital tissue imaging—combining speed, high-resolution and ease of use to optimize surgical and pathology workflows.

At Saman Tree, we imagine a world where every surgical decision is made with confidence and every patient leaves the operating room knowing the surgeon “got it all”. Our work is driven by a deep commitment to physicians and patients—putting their needs at the center of every innovation. We move quickly and purposefully because time matters in surgery. We strive for excellence and precision in every image, every line of code, and every interaction.

We value curiosity, adaptability, and teamwork, knowing that the best ideas come from collaboration and integrity. Above all, we build technology that earns trust—helping healthcare professionals deliver better outcomes, faster.

If you’re inspired by technology that improves lives and motivated by work that blends scientific rigor with real human impact, we’d love to meet you. Join us in shaping the future of surgical imaging and advancing precision in surgical care.
