Are you ready to launch your career in aviation simulation in a dynamic growing environment? FLY7 Training is looking for passionate, team-oriented and hands‑on Simulator Officer to join our growing team in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Responsibilities- Assuring daily operational readiness of training equipment
- Acting as contact person and first level support for our flight instructors and customers
- Providing training to simulator operators
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the simulator to ensure good working condition with uninterrupted availability
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing any technical issues or malfunctions
- Organizing repairs or replacement of faulty components or parts
- Calibrating and evaluating the performance of the simulator to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Participating to documentation development
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to address complex maintenance issues
- Apprenticeship (CFC) in automation or electronics, with ideally 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Enthusiastic about working in the aviation simulation industry
- Able to work practically with electronic/mechanical hardware while delivering effective software solutions
- Team player, flexible and resilient, ready for irregular working hours (early morning or late evening shifts, weekends and overtime)
- Positive oriented mindset with focus on solutions
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, French is an appreciated plus
- Clean criminal records
- Must live locally in Lausanne or nearby
- Hold valid rights to work in Switzerland (Visa/Residency/Citizenship)
- Available to start immediately or in the near term
