Lead Veterinarian – Laurinburg, NC

A well-established veterinary hospital in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to serve as the medical leader of the practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a collaborative, positive workplace culture while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and supporting the overall success of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and hospital leadership to maintain quality medical care
  • Support scheduling and staffing needs with the practice manager
  • Build strong client relationships and represent the hospital in the community
  • Mentor and develop support staff through training programs
  • Manage diverse caseloads of appointments and surgeries
  • Ensure compliance with state veterinary requirements and hospital permits
  • Serve as the veterinarian of record for the practice

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE equivalency program)
  • Active North Carolina veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
