Our client is seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in Laurinburg, NC and provide end-user support. This position requires overnight travel from Sunday to Thursday, onsite at client location during normal business hours, with potential overtime. A valid state driver's license (Real‑), clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle are required.

• Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locations
• Replace printer parts, paper feed, power supply, print head, toner drum, transfer belt, image unit
• Perform complex upgrades and troubleshoot printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems
• Provide on‑site technical support to internal or external customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
• Install and remove equipment and systems as required
• Responsible for day‑to‑day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact on technical and service‑related problems
• Ensure that all schedules, transmissions, on‑line systems, and problems are resolved accurately and timely
• Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes
• Determine the most cost‑effective repair or resolution to minimize customer downtime

• Minimum 2–3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers
• Ability to travel extensively via plane and/or car
• Experience with commercial/large printers;
  Lexmark printer certification a plus
• Electronics and mechanical aptitude for working on commercial printers
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases, and network security concepts and tools
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office application suite, including MS Outlook
• Experience with multi‑platform Windows OS
• Knowledge of Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing, system connectivity, and Windows configuration
• Ability to work independently in a retail environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders, leadership, partners, team members, organizations, and customers
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment

The rate for this position is between $18.76 – $27.50 per hour
. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
