Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts in the Emergency Centre

• Every other weekend (EOW) required

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Float within hospital as needed

• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Work in a 34-room emergency department with 104 total beds and daily census of 84

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC

• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS

• 3+ years of experience preferred, will consider 1 year of experience

• Previous charge experience preferred

• EPIC charting system experience required

• Community hospital experience required

• NC state or compact RN license required

• Must be proficient in emergency department procedures including triage, IV management, blood product administration, procedural sedation, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, and trauma management

• Handle diverse patient conditions including stroke care, psychiatric emergencies, trauma cases, and general emergency medicine

• Interdisciplinary support includes radiology and unit secretary

• Must include all requested time off at submission
