North Carolina

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Shift days will vary throughout the week, with every other weekend required.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in adult critical care and emergency respiratory services, collaborating with medical staff to provide specialized care for a diverse patient population.

• Provide respiratory therapy care to patients in various units, including critical care and emergency departments.
• Assist with intubation and extubation, manage tracheostomy care, and support mechanical ventilation.
• Administer nebulized therapies, high flow nasal cannula, and CPAP/BiPAP as needed.
• Conduct sputum specimen collection and ensure thorough documentation in the charting system.
• Respond to rapid response team calls as needed, supporting patient care during emergencies.

• NC State RRT License required.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a critical care or emergency department setting is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
