Join Duke University Health System as a Hematology-Oncology Physician at the Scotland Cancer Treatment Center in Laurinburg, NC. Practice Monday-Friday in a hospital-based cancer center with a 10-treatment chair, seeing 12-15 patients daily. Develop a general Hematology-Oncology practice with a clinical focus of your interest on a well-resourced team. Participate in call rotations with other Duke Cancer Network physicians.
Enjoy opportunities to participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and teach Duke Hematology-Oncology fellows. Collaborate with community-based and rotating Duke Oncologists, on-site Duke breast surgeons, APPs, Radiation Oncology, and specialty pharmacy, supported by comprehensive clinical services.
Laurinburg, home to nearly 36,000 residents, is located in southeastern North Carolina near the South Carolina border, just 35 minutes from Pinehurst. It offers a low cost of living, a good work/life balance, and proximity to Raleigh, Charlotte, and North Carolina beaches.
