Electrical Technician

Talascend is currently seeking an Electrical Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Laurens, South Carolina
.

The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment in an industrial installation environment.

• Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment in an industrial installation environment.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Follows instructions of immediate supervisor and works in a team environment.

• Must have OHSA 10 and/or OHSA 30 in Construction.
• Forklift experience required;
  Current Forklift Safety Training certification preferred.

• Punctual and dependable every day.
• Ability to install conduit to company and national standards.
• Use of proper tools for the job.
• Mount and wire electrical devices.
• Feed and pull wire.
• Comfortable working at heights typically not higher than 40FT.
• Adherence to all safety standards.
• Lifting will exceed 30 lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
• Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
