Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for someone who has a kind approach with the elderly, is a good listener, can build rapport easily, and has good communication skills. If you are interested in making a difference in our residents lives and can work collaboratively with others, we would love to have you apply for our Interim Activities Director position and be a part of the Evergreen Healthcare Group family.

• Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
• Notify residents and staff of activity schedules.
• Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis to provide:
  • A friendly visitor.
  • Sensory stimulation.
  • Reality orientation.
  • A means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan.
• Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas.
• Preferred:
  Activities Director Certification.
