Registered Nurse (RN) – High Intensity Care Unit (HICU)
Location: Levindale Hospital, Life Bridge Health – Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour Shifts (Nights)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Levindale Hospital’s High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Our team provides advanced, compassionate care for individuals recovering from acute brain injuries, respiratory failure, and complex medical conditions.
As part of the Life Bridge Health system, you’ll work in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment that prioritizes professional growth and excellence in patient care.
20 semi-private rooms, caring for up to 40 high-acuity patients
Multidisciplinary team including nursing, respiratory therapy, rehab, pharmacy, nutrition, and social work
Focused on recovery, early intervention, and family-centered care
State-of-the-art monitoring and life-support technology
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex needs
Operate and monitor advanced medical and life-support equipment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Experience: Critical care or high-acuity experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
Licensure: Current Maryland RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS required within one year of hire
