Lab Technician – Apex Systems

Job Description: Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Quality Lab Technician in a fast‑paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. The role involves performing QA tests, pressure checks, Hawk UV, running micro‑samples, analytical tests, assisting in holds/audits, special projects, and other tasks as necessary. The technician must adapt to a variety of work environments.

Onsite, Latrobe, PA

$21.00 per hour

2 openings – Priority 11 pm – 7 am, also 3 pm – 11 pm, and possible 7 pm – 7 am on Saturday/Sunday every third week.

• Perform a variety of analytical laboratory tests on in‑process product samples and finished goods, including product and packaging materials and incoming products.
• Conduct basic bench‑top wet chemistries such as pH as well as instrumentation tests such as GC and UV‑Vis.
• Perform government compliance testing on required products prior to release.

• 0‑1 years of industry experience.
• 4‑year science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, or related field preferred.
• Analytical experience with GC, UV‑Vis, or similar instruments preferred.
