Skilled Nursing Facility | Leadership Role | Competitive Salary + BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced, motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing Leadership Team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role is ideal for a clinically strong nurse who is ready to step into leadership or an experienced nurse leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-focused environment.
The ADON plays a critical role in supporting daily clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes while partnering closely with the Director of Nursing.

- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing operations
- Provide daily clinical oversight and supervision of nursing staff
- Conduct wound rounds and maintain accurate tracking and trending
- Lead infection prevention initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in QAPI activities, audits, and performance improvement plans
- Interview, hire, and support onboarding of nursing staff
- Provide hands‑on clinical support on the floor as needed
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families
- Promote a positive, professional, and team‑oriented work culture
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting
- Infection Preventionist certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory requirements
- Experience with wound care, audits, and quality initiatives preferred
- Prior experience with interviewing and staffing decisions is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to support staffing needs as required
