Compensation: $25-27/hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: M-F 7AM-3:30PM
OverviewElectronics Manufacturer is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join their team!
Responsibilities- Oversee operations of the entire assembly floor, managing upstream and downstream processes to ensure production readiness and quality control before shipping
- Manage inventory by ensuring all parts are accurately accounted for, available for upcoming projects, and properly documented within ERP systems
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with team leads to assess current inventory levels and forecast future needs
- Supervise receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Conduct regular physical and system inventory audits, resolve issues related to damages, outdated stock, or returns
- Operate forklift as needed for material handling and storage
- Plan and schedule shipments ensuring on-time delivery via reliable transportation providers
- Track and expediting orders using inventory management software, maintaining optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address delays or supply issues, maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Generate reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and performance metrics to identify process improvements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; additional education in supply chain, logistics, or related fields preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory oversight, or expediting within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience with electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing highly desirable
- Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems, with knowledge of MRP and Kanban processes preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quality management systems such as Kaizen, ISO-9000, AS9100, Six Sigma is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams
