Production Associate Level I – Machining
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 1st Shift
Operates machines and production equipment safely in a manufacturing environment to meet quality and productivity standards with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Rotate between machining workstations
- Power wash and manually clean crankshafts and cylinder blocks
- Perform detailed inspections of crankshafts and cylinder blocks
- Operate polishing and milling machines (as skill level increases)
- Use cranes and measurement tools (micrometers, bore gauges)
- Follow documented work instructions and record process results
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts
- Maintain clean work areas and meet production cycle times
- Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies
- Use required PPE and report hazards or incidents
- Perform quality inspections and control non-conforming materials
- Adhere to standard work and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
