Electrical Assembly Technician — Latrobe, PA | Full-Time | Onsite
We are a national leader in the design and manufacturing of customized trailers, delivering high-quality and innovative solutions across a wide range of industries. As we expand into new ventures, we are seeking skilled Electrical Assembly Technicians to join our growing team.
Electrical Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical systems throughout the trailer manufacturing process. This role focuses on electrical components including mechanical rooms, control panels, circuit boards, HVAC electrical systems, and DOT-compliant trailer wiring. Electrical Technicians work closely with other departments—such as plumbing, framing, finishing, and mechanical—to ensure a fully integrated and compliant final product. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities- Assemble and install electrical components and systems in trailers from start to finish
- Wire mechanical rooms, circuit boards, control panels, and junction boxes
- Install and connect electrical systems for HVAC units and related controls
- Perform DOT-compliant trailer wiring, including lighting, brakes, and power systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools to complete electrical assembly tasks efficiently and safely
- Test, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and electrical codes (NEC, DOT, OSHA)
- 4-day workweek:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM -- 4:30 PM - Paid time off

- Experience with electrical assembly or wiring in a manufacturing or construction environment
- High proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and diagrams
- Ability to be on your feet for a 10-hour shift
- Full mobility without restrictions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to complete assigned production tasks within scheduled time frames
- Able to take direction and follow instructions accurately
