Solar PV Engineer

The Green Recruitment Company is searching an Electrical Engineer-Manager to join a Spanish IPP with 100% WFH.

The Electrical Engineer, will be key in the design, permitting, and delivery of large-scale photovoltaic and onshore wind projects throughout Italy.

Responsibilities
Design and refine PV systems, including module layout, sizing, and electrical architecture.
Conduct energy yield simulations, feasibility assessments, and evaluate layout alternatives.
Engineer internal electrical networks, MV/HV substations, and overhead transmission lines.
Prepare complete technical documentation (excluding EIA) for Sole Authorization, Grid Connection, Construction, and Commissioning.
Lead technical due diligence and support grid access and connection procedures.

Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Minimum 5 years of experience in solar and/or wind project engineering, development and execution.
In-depth knowledge of Italian grid codes and authorization frameworks.
Skilled in PVsyst, AutoCAD, QGIS, and Microsoft Office.
Proven experience with Sole Authorization and grid connection documentation.
Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level).
Availability to travel in Italy.
