• Use intelligence‑led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure.
• Respond to and document incidents promptly.
• Use de‑escalation tactics and Target’s video surveillance system.
• Support crisis response and crowd management.
• Document cases using Target’s case management systems.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests at the front of store.
• Promote a physical security culture by assessing safe standards throughout the store and exterior property.
• Respond to security incidents and document them accurately.
• Leverage de‑escalation tactics and resources when responding across the store.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries, provide theft apprehension support, and adhere to AP policies.
• Perform merchandise receipt checks to prevent theft and shortage.
• Submit appropriate documentation in the case management system for all incidents.
• Understand and use Target’s video surveillance system.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely and comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct them.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meeting state or local licensure or other legal requirements.
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Effective communication on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplishing tasks.

• Enjoy interacting and helping others.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, physically demanding role.
• Open to flexible work schedules, nights, weekends, holidays, peak times.
• Ability to climb ladders, apprehend subjects, lift merchandise up to 40 lbs.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions.
• Mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
