Welder / MIG/MAG/TIG, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
In this role, the welder will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate techniques and using various welding devices. The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how and an innovative mindset to help drive industry-leading solutions.
What You'll Do- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
- Design and build basic and/or complex structures, supports or framework in the execution of daily tasks
- Weld using GMAW/MIG and RSW processes
- Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drill gun, and grinders to operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
- Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables
- Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- 1-3 years resistance spot welding (RSW) and MIG welding experience
- 1-3 years' experience operating in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or relatable facility
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch and hearing
- Work in a team environment and respect all teammates
- Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred
- Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
- Frequently and repetitively lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines

$27.45 - $34.97/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
