We are seeking an energetic, team‑oriented people‑person to be responsible for the performance of Quality Technicians and inspectors on various shifts at Lathrop Meg factory. The Quality Supervisor will manage a team of Technicians to ensure they perform at a high level while meeting the needs of the production floor and product quality. The individual will be responsible for quality assurance related metrics for their shift.

The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for performance managing their team to generate the highest value from every employee while maintaining a high level of technical ability.

• Delegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of Quality Technicians
• Provide coaching and training to Technicians
• Escalate quality issues with Management and Engineering as needed
• Drive improvements in quality operations
• Assist Quality Technicians with in‑line decision making
• Provide regular reports & updates to the Quality team and Management
• Assist in management of material disposition

• 2+ years of leadership experience, supervising a team of 10 or more employees
• Certification in a quality‑related field such as Six‑Sigma, TQM, or equivalent
• Familiarity with measurement system analysis (physical measurement techniques such as CMM, optical comparator) and analytical techniques like GD&T, Gage R&R
• Familiarity with dealing with Part Quality Issues and SORTs/SCARs
• Experience in fast‑paced manufacturing processes
• Easily demonstrate ability to drive issues to root‑cause solutions in previous experience
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. SQL skills preferred, with the ability to command the English language, both written and verbal

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
• Frequently and repetitively lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
• Frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
• Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines

$72,000 – $108,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
