As a Behavior Technician at Burnett, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, building communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities.

• Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through engaging, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• Spanish‑speaking is highly preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required.
• Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field is highly preferred.
• RBT certification is a plus; cost to obtain it is covered by Burnett.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
• TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunizations, and a pre‑employment physical (within the past year).
• Background check (FBI & DOJ).
