Pay & Benefits- Competitive pay: $21–$24 per hour, based on experience. Pay increases after you obtain RBT certification.

As a Behavior Technician at Burnett, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, building communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play‑based activities.
- Deliver one‑on‑one behavior support through engaging, individualized activities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.

- Team of dedicated professionals in behavioral & mental health.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Spanish‑speaking is highly preferred.
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required.
- Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field is highly preferred.
- RBT certification is a plus; cost to obtain it is covered by Burnett.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Reliability and willingness to work with a variety of clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
- TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella immunizations, and a pre‑employment physical (within the past year).
- Background check (FBI & DOJ).
