Truck Driver - Home Daily - CDL A at XPO
What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO- Be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Safe driving record and history
- Currently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
- Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company‑paid DOT physical
- Available to work a flexible schedule of up to 12‑14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shifts

About the Truck Driver JobThis role involves daily home‑based driving, operating tractor‑trailer combinations—including doubles and triples—and providing excellent customer service.
Pay, benefits and more- Expected pay range: $30.37 to $37.47 per hour, with annual step progression. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set.

- This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position
- Safely operate a tractor‑trailer combination, including doubles and triples
- Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads
- Load and unload freight
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.), including moving a converter dolly averaging 128 lbs. of pull force
- Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
- Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift, and safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift
- Walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces, including working outdoors in inclement weather
- Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as required
- Operate a tractor‑trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in all weather conditions while safely transporting hazardous/non‑hazardous materials
