Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) –
Location: Las Vegas, NM

Job Description: The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Las Vegas, NM to recruit a dedicated and compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to support their Med Surg team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining flexibility to meet staffing needs.

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg environment is preferred.
• Current New Mexico RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
