We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 14-week Long-Term Care assignment in New Mexico. This position is in a behavioral health long-term care unit and offers flexible 10-hour shifts across days, evenings, or nights with guaranteed full-time hours. Candidates must have some psychiatric experience and be available for a clinical interview prior to placement.

Assignment Details

• Location: New Mexico

• Contract Length: 14 weeks

• Schedule Options:

  • Sunday – Wednesday or Thursday – Sunday

• Shift Options (10-hour shifts):

  • Days: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Evenings: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Nights: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Start Requirement: Must arrive 48 hours early to complete New Mexico fingerprinting and compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a behavioral health LTC setting

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor patient conditions and document changes promptly

• Support patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs

• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Psychiatric / behavioral health experience required or strongly preferred

• Long-Term Care experience preferred

• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, or nights)

• Must complete New Mexico fingerprinting prior to start

• Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements

• Strong communication, adaptability, and clinical skills
