Job Title:

Material Handler-Pre Assembly Job Description

As a Warehouse Material Handler I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities include handling incoming shipments, unloading, storing received items, verifying part quantities, and ensuring the accuracy of shipment documents. This position requires physical labor and the ability to lift packages weighing between 50-100 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure systematic and physical receipt of materials from vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Locate parts systematically and physically into designated locations.
  • Verify parts and quantities on packing slips.
  • Log incoming mail and communicate to the lead.
  • Process cubic scans and receive re-work purchase orders.
  • Receive serialized items and pack cases from active inventory.
  • Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities.

Work Environment

The work environment involves standing and walking throughout the warehouse for extended periods. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds daily, with the potential to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Overtime work may be required based on business needs. Be prepared for exposure to varying temperatures, from very cool to very warm, and engage in repetitive motions such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.

Adherence to warehouse safety protocols and regulations is essential.

Schedule:

7am-3:30pm + mandatory overtime during peak months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
