Overview
CORT hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Lead in Las Vegas, NV!
The Warehouse Lead assists in overseeing warehouse operations to ensure accurate receipt, secure storage, and efficient distribution of products. Assists in coordinating team activities, monitoring workflow, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Plays a key role in optimizing processes, resolving issues, and fostering a productive work environment
Pay: $20-22/ hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, some weekends may be required

- Provides basic oversight and leads temporary labor and warehouse associates.
- Oversees the loading and unloading of trucks as well as assists with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Leads processes from start to finish with the respective work crews.
- Completes basic paperwork, including but not limited to, Bill of Ladings, transfer documents and receiving forms.
- Upload handheld devices and run reports from the inventory management system.
- Assures inventory movement is properly recorded in the inventory management system.
- Analyze transfer schedule to determine product to be moved, gathered, or distributed, for outbound district orders and inbound freight.
- Conveys product and materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places product or materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, quality, or product code.
- Assembles district orders from stock and stages orders for loading on truck
- Operates forklift and furniture picker to transport and hoist product to and from the racks.
- Opens boxes, crates, and other containers to unload new product.
- Attaches barcodes to product according to company standards.
- Cleans and inspects refurbished product and packages product according to company standards.
- Uses handheld device to scan in and out inventory barcodes from the inventory management system.
- Reports loss and damage to distribution manager.
- Separates product to damage or clean areas.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Previous warehousing experience preferred; priority consideration will be given to candidates with more and relevant experience
- Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided
- Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner
- Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
- Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment
