Window Dispatcher

Transdev in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Oversee road service for assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring routes begin on time, monitoring performance, and addressing incidents.
• Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no-shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators and act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Other duties as required.

• High School Diploma or GED;
  Technical Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years; experience in dispatching.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Employees are generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of indoors and outdoors.
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.

• CBA Position:
  Position subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• $23.18 - $30.59 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale). Starting pay is $23.18 with progression to $30.59 over 10 years.
• Benefits include:
  Vacation up to 25 days per year;
  Paid Sick Leave: 26 hrs for full-time employees after 1st year, progressing up to 40 hrs after 3rd year;
