Company Driver - Pneumatic, Tanker, CDL Class A

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Pneumatic Tanker Driver to haul and unload HiCal Quick Lime
. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating pneumatic tanker trailers and performing safe and efficient blow-off (pneumatic unloading) procedures at customer sites. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols due to the hazardous nature of lime products.

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer with a pneumatic tanker transporting HiCal Quick Lime.
• Perform proper pneumatic blow-off/unloading of lime at designated delivery locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor, trailer, hoses, valves, and air systems.
• Ensure correct hookup of hoses, compressors, and fittings prior to unloading.
• Monitor pressure levels and airflow during unloading to prevent equipment failure or product release.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, MSHA (if applicable), and company safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and electronic logs (ELDs).
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of tanker and unloading equipment.
• Immediately report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents.

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of pneumatic tanker experience.
• Demonstrated experience unloading quick lime, lime, cement, or similar dry bulk materials.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, blowers, compressors, and pressure control.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous or caustic materials.
• Strong understanding of PPE requirements (respirator, goggles, gloves, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.

• Ability to climb ladders, connect heavy hoses, and handle valves.
• Capable of working in dusty environments.
• Must wear required PPE at all times during unloading.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

• Experience specifically with HiCal Quick Lime or calcium-based products.
• TWIC card (if required for job sites).
• Tanker and Haz Mat endorsements (if applicable).
