EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and sales‑driven leader for the role of Fitness Manager. Reporting to the District Fitness Manager, the Fitness Manager will spend time on the floor, setting appointments, building relationships with members, selling training packages, and growing a team of personal trainers that can meet the same objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, a record of sales success, and a history of motivating clients to achieve results.
PositionPurpose
Build a cohesive Personal Training team that delivers exceptional fitness experiences while maintaining a healthy pipeline of clients, membership satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets month‑over‑month, ensuring the team meets or exceeds set goals for new personal training agreements, client retention, and overall revenue generation.
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, drive sales initiatives, and establish a smooth transition into the club experience.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers.
- Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff members.
- Ensure all fitness staff have appropriate certifications and training such as CPR, First Aid, and personal trainer certifications.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff, focusing on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Engage with members in a friendly, approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and providing clear responses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain certifications, and implement safety protocols.
- Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- In emergencies or unexpected disruptions, communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members to ensure safety.
- 2 years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus.
- 3–4 years of customer service experience.
- Personal training sales experience is highly preferred.
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry.
- Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.
- Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills.
- Strong detail orientation, systematic and thorough problem‑solving, and good time management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid PT certification.
- Previous sales experience required.
- Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms, communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports.
- Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 40 lbs.
