IOS Developer

This position reports directly to executive engineering leadership and partners closely with cross-functional teams across backend, Android, and web.

Stelvio is conducting a confidential search on behalf of an early-stage, venture-backed technology company operating within the regulated digital gaming and sports ecosystem.

The organization has an established production iOS application supporting real-money transactions, live data, and compliance-driven workflows.

They are seeking a senior-level iOS engineer to take ownership of the platform’s continued evolution, performance, and architectural maturity.

The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing and scaling a live iOS application that supports real-time data streams, transactional systems, and regulatory compliance requirements. This is a hands‑on engineering role requiring strong architectural judgment, security awareness, and production-level experience.

• Design, build, and maintain complex UIKit and Swift
  
  UI interfaces
• Implement scalable UI architectures utilizing MVVM and protocol‑oriented patterns
• Develop and optimize collection/table view implementations using compositional layouts and diffable data sources
• Integrate backend services (REST, gRPC, Web Sockets) and manage real‑time data flows
• Partner on implementation of secure payment, wallet, and transaction‑related features
• Integrate and maintain third‑party SDKs (analytics, chat, compliance tooling)
• Ensure adherence to iOS security best practices, including code signing, app integrity, and runtime protections
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and release management processes

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Demonstrated experience building complex, cell‑based user interfaces
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and modern concurrency patterns (async/await, Combine)
• Experience working with real‑time data and networking protocols
• Background in security‑conscious or regulated application environments
• Proficiency with Git‑based workflows and modern CI systems
