Senior Front End Engineer

About the Role

Design, build, and product ionize highly performant, accessible, and scalable frontend experiences that surface GenAI-powered brand intelligence within the Meltwater application. You will play a critical role in shaping how customers explore, understand, and trust insights generated by large-scale NLP and LLM systems powering GenAI Lens.

• Build and evolve GenAI Lens, a high-impact, data- and AI-driven surface within Meltwater, delivering fast, intuitive, and trustworthy intelligence experiences at scale.
• Develop performant, accessible frontend systems in a monorepo environment, with a strong focus on reliability, maintainability, and user experience.
• Partner closely with design to rapidly iterate from concept to production, continuously refining UX as GenAI capabilities and customer needs evolve.
• Be accountable for the quality of the intelligence experience by defining and tracking frontend quality KPIs (performance, usability, accessibility, trust signals, and interaction reliability).
• Collaborate with product and engineering to turn customer problems into measurable deliverables and ship production features quickly and safely.
• Own frontend systems end-to-end: from early prototypes through production rollout, observability, performance tuning, and ongoing iteration.

• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and Type Script, with deep experience building modern web applications using HTML5 and CSS.
• Solid understanding of React, including component architecture, hooks, and state management patterns.
• Hands‑on experience building, deploying, and maintaining production‑grade applications.
• Experience integrating front‑end applications with Graph
  
  QL and REST APIs.
• Proven experience working with Next.js, including server‑side rendering, routing, and performance optimization.
• Experience working within a monorepo environment.
• Comfortable learning new tools, concepts, or techniques as needed, and enjoy expanding beyond your initial area of strength.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, and drive projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely execution and high‑quality outcomes.
• Passion for AI (in particular Generative AI), with a constant drive to stay updated and ahead of the curve.

• Total compensation range for this position: $188,000-$250,000 USD per year.
