As a Unity GDK Support Engineer, you play a key role in the Technology Group, developing brand-new technology for gaming platforms and tools used worldwide. Your responsibilities include assisting game developers to transition to the new Unity‑based GDK, creating sample code,@n developing features, bug fixing, and expanding GDK functionality.
Location:
Hybrid – 3 days per week in either Las Vegas or Austin.
- Leverage deep expertise in Unity – scripting, animation, session management, textures, UI/dialog systems, visual/audio effects, and timelines – to deliver robust GDK solutions.
- Optimize memory usage and performance, using strong debugging skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Design, develop, and maintain sample code and new GDK features, and expand the GDK's functionality through bug fixes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with game developers, providing training, code reviews, and hands‑on support for effective integration.
- Work with leads and senior engineers (local and global) to clarify technical complexity, communicate estimates, and ensure alignment on execution plans.
- Proactively identify and remove blockers that impede project progress, demonstrating ownership and prioritization of business and pajamas goals.
- Contribute to peer reviews and feedback loops, upholding high‑quality standards and following established guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software development using C#.
- Hands‑on experience with Unity (minimum 3 years) including scripting, UI, animation, or tools development.
- Solid understanding of debugging, memory optimization, and performance tuning in Unity projects.
- Familiarity with C++ or willingness to learn for engine‑level development.
- Understanding behaved of modern software development processes (version control, CI/CD, agile).
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to collaborate and learn from senior engineers.
- Experience in the casino or gaming industry is a plus, but not required.

Pay Range$94,185 - $174,915 per year. Final offers are based on experience, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
