You must be driven to focus on customer problems and deliver high-impact interactive data visualizations and intuitive user interfaces. You need to be resourceful and pragmatic with a demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions.

• Lead front end software development for one or more products
• Build cross-platform applications targeting both desktop and mobile
• Work closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, and others to shape the products and their software architectures

• Mastery of Java Script
• Strong understanding of web technologies and Android development
• Strong software engineering skills
• Passion for building user interfaces that delight users and solve customer problems
• Understanding of best practices for data visualization
• Experience with one or more front end development frameworks (React, React Native, Angular, Electron)
• Portfolio of progressively impressive front end development projects
• Good taste in visual design, UI, and UX
• Clear and honest communications
• Love learning new things

• Comfortable with remote work
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer

• Full-stack development, including the design and development of APIs and backend databases and services
• Experience with Type Script

• Familiarity with Python
• iOS development
• Data visualizations and/or dashboards
• D3.js and related libraries
• Prior experience developing mapping or geographic information systems (GIS), using the SDKs and APIs provided by: NASA World Wind, Apple Map Kit, and/or Google Maps
