Diesel Technician​/Mechanic

, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic
. The Diesel Technician/Mechanic is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. This role requires a high level of proficiency and working knowledge related to heavy‑duty diesel engine diagnosis and repair, comprehension of fleet maintenance operations, understanding of electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and DOT inspection experience.

Competitive hourly pay ($30‑$44/hr DOE) – paid weekly, every Friday.

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on medium to heavy duty vehicles.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures.
• Inspect and work on the under parts of vehicles.
• Move parts to and from the job site and install or remove them on vehicles.
• Interact with clients via email or phone as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.

• At least 5 years of experience performing vehicle maintenance, or an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
• Commercial Driver’s License class A or B (plus).
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly.
• Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
• Knowledge of hand‑held scan tools and the process of diagnosing vehicles.
• Proficient computer skills – Excel, Word, fleet management systems, and email.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing duties.
• Exposure to diesel fumes, dust, noise, chemicals, oils, greases, and other irritants.
• Access to any area of equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance.
• Ability to move and position heavy objects.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
